Technical and scientific expertise: MSI analysis in paraffin embedded tissues, CDH1 mutation screening in paraffin embedded tissues, Detection and genotyping of Helicobacter pylori strains in paraffin embedded tissues.Human tissue resources: Large collection of different types of cancer, specifically gastrointestinal and thyroid cancer. Large collection of non-neoplastic tissue, specifically gastrointestinal tract biopsies.
Besides an archive of paraffin embedded tissues, a Tumour Bank of frozen tissue is currently available.
